Following its recent achievement of the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Verification Statement, Shanghai Reli, a front-runner in the industrial equipment sector, has officially released its annual Sustainability Report. The document, aligned with global frameworks including GRI Standards and ISO 26000, offers a transparent overview of the company’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts, solidifying its position as a responsible industrial innovator.
The 60-page report encapsulates Shanghai Reli’s progress across three core pillars, with a strong focus on its low-carbon journey. Building on the GHG verification by TÜV SÜD, it details the company’s 18% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions year-on-year, driven by production process optimization and the adoption of renewable energy. Notably, the report highlights investments in energy-efficient machinery and a full-cycle GHG monitoring system, which laid the groundwork for its earlier certification.
“This report is more than a disclosure—it’s a commitment to accountability and continuous improvement,” said Zhang Wei, CEO of Shanghai Reli. “We’re proud to share our progress, from cutting operational emissions to strengthening supply chain sustainability. By aligning our business strategy with global ESG goals, we aim to create long-term value for our clients, employees, and the planet.”
Beyond environmental initiatives, the report outlines Shanghai Reli’s social and governance achievements. It emphasizes workforce development programs, including technical training for over 300 employees, and ethical sourcing policies that ensure 90% of suppliers meet its sustainability standards. For international stakeholders, the report also addresses compliance with frameworks like the EU’s CBAM, underscoring the company’s readiness to navigate global carbon regulations.
Looking ahead, the report sets ambitious 2027 targets: a 30% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions, 100% renewable energy use in core facilities, and zero-waste production in key workshops. TÜV SÜD commended the report’s transparency, noting it serves as an industry benchmark for integrating sustainability into business operations. For Shanghai Reli, the report reinforces its dedication to turning ESG commitments into actionable results, driving sustainable growth in the industrial sector.
